Tet tet su ya TONIGHT! :)

Awesome night out at Tetsuya! Reservation was made 3-4 months in advance for a random Tuesday night in July (winter in Oz). Lesson #1 - if you want to taste and enjoy the food, do not order the wine flight .. and if you do, no need to down the generous pours as if you were at some frat party in college :) In order to make room for more, Chris suggested I take a walk while Justin (Lori's husband) suggested I puke in the ladies room .. I took Justin's advice :)

Go go Swallows!

Going to a baseball game in Japan is one of the best experiences ever! So much fun! The best part are the cute beer girls! The ramen is fantastic! The cheering with the umbrellas was a confusing. :)

Tokyo Fashion

I know I like to make fun of Aussie fashion a lot ... this tops any outfit I have seen in Sydney. :)

Japanese pork buns

Why does pig taste so good? I really want to cut pork from my diet, but they are just so delicious :( I really wish they were a stupid animal and then I wouldn't feel so guilty! How cute are these pork buns?

Japanese dog food

Japan has the best snacks.. even their dogs get to eat these tasty salty treats! I love dried whole fish!

Romance in Tokyo

Date night with Chris! :) Great restaurant in Tokyo! No English menu and no one spoke English. Chris and I just pointed at other people's food to order. :)

A little bit of SF in Tokyo!

Aussies love to brag about their coffee ... Rightfully so, Australia has amazing coffee! 9/10 times you will get the perfect long black. However I still think SF has the BEST coffee. If it's good enough for Japan, then it's good enough for me! SF's Blue bottle coffee featured in Tokyo!

How cute!?!

These pictures make my tooth hurt they are so sweet! How can a country produce such cute things!?! Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Tsukiji Fish Market in Japan - Best sushi ever!

Chris, Jen, Elad, Prasana and I all woke up (well Prasana never went to sleep) at 3:45AM to go to this fish market. We then waited in line for 2 hours for the best sushi ever! Well worth the wait. YUM! :)

A little piece of Australia in Tokyo!
